Trying To Make Sense Of The Coalition-Avenir Quebec Logo

Earlier this week, the Globe and Mail deconstructed the logo for the Coalition-Avenir Quebec. Here's my take:

A high school textbook image of the distant past; plus



the unfortunate architectural present; equals



an aesthetically challenged future.

Why bother? It's just plain ugly. The only thing this logo matches with is Don Cherry's suits
